  The dollar slipped back as players  
  squared-positions ahead of the long 
  Easter holiday weekend.             
  
  At 1730, it was quoted at DM 1.6680 
  and, in terms of sterling, $1.4895, 
  after 1.6745 and 1.4825 overnight.  
                                      
  Players were anxious to avoid new   
  dollar positions ahead of Friday's  
  US employment figures for March.    
