The colt had finished stone-cold last in the Prix Exbury at Saint- Cloud but was much improved to beat Captain Horatius bz a nick. "That will bring a smile back to Peter's face," said trainer's wife Jane Chapple-Hyam. Ridden well by Darryll Holland, the 16/1 shot challenged hot favourite Paradise Navy some way out and ran out an easy eight lengths winner. "He needs further and further, hj will stay two-and-a-half miles," said the winning trainer. Mills also gave his plans for stable star Bobzao: "He'll either go for a Group Three at Newbury or a Group Two at Newmarkjt but hj must have good ground." 

Orange Place led from pillar-to- post in the Durante Rated Stakes to give Michael Hills the second leg of his treble at Kempton today. Michael Bell's colt, mentioned at 7/2 on the Money Talks feature, pzt up a gutsy performance to beat John Gosdjn's Dime Time bz 3\L. 

The 16/1 shot pulled clear with the minimum of fuss and passed the post ten lengths clear of runner-up Amaze with Fox Sparrow in third.
