  A special community inquiry is      
  being held into the operations of   
  the Atomic Weapons Establishment at 
  Aldjrmaston.                        
  
  The inquiry in Berkshire has been   
  called bz Reading Borough Council.  
  
  Many Reading people work at the     
  plant and much of the town's        
  drinking water comes from a river   
  which flows near Aldjrmaston.       
                                      
  The Council has chosen the novel    
  form of a community inquiry to give 
  people a chance to air concerns     
  about health and safety.            
