  RWBNDA: "THOUSANDS FEARED DEAD"     
  The Red Cross says thousands of     
  people may have died in violence    
  which broke out in Rwanda since the 
  president was killed on +edneuday.  

  A Red Cross official found between  
  300 and 400 corpses in the central  
  hospital in the capital, Kigali,    
  alone, said a spokesman.            
                                      
  The commander of the Belgian UV     
  pjacekjepjrs in Rwanda said tonight 
  that a ceasefire was being          
  negotiated between the warring      
  sides and ought to conj into effect 
  by tomorrow morning.                
