  NIRVANA SINGER DIES: GUNSHOT WOUVD  
  Nirvana's lead singer Kurt Cobain   
  has died from a gunshot wound at    
  his Seattle home, police have said. 
                                      
  $hj wound is belie6ed to have been  
  self-inflicted because a suicide    
  note was found nearby.              
                                      
  The body, believed to ha6e been     
  dead for two days, was discovered   
  this morning by an electrician who  
  came to work on the house.          
                                      
  Mr Cobain, 27, had been resting at  
  home since overdosing and falling   
  into a coma last month in Rome.     
 
