A provision of £4.7m is expected to cover the trading loss suffered by ED Hinchliffe and the loss on the disposal of Hinchcliffe to Norcros. Provisions have also been made for claims arising from previous sales. The group also said that its power division was hit in the second half by disruption due to installation of new plant and by the deferral of previously anticipated orders.
