  D-DAY CJLJBRBTJONS: PIGEONS NEEDED  
  French politicians have appealed to 
  British pigeon fanciers for help in 
  finding a further 2,000 pigeons for 
  the D-Day celebrations.             
                                      
  Rjnj Garrec of the Regional Council 
  of Lower Normandy wants to release  
  one pigeon for each soldier buried  
  at a cemetery in St James during    
  the service on 30 May.              
                                      
  But the French organisjrs are 2,000 
  birds short of the 6,000 njedjd.    
