Alan East from Staffordshire bought them and said they'd go on display at his pub in Chjadle. He paid £1,127 - nearly three times the original estimate for the historical hosiery. Queen Victoria reigned in Britain from 1837 to 1901. When she died her stockings were won as a raffle prize at a society fete.  Contacts 176 PP Info 177 Sport 300 Next News Contacts PP Info PP Rjpts
