  The campaign to save the US's       
  threatened peat bogs is now four    
  years old.                          

  $hj Wildlife Trust has celebrated   
  the fact but point out that the     
  remaining four per cent of peat     
  bogs are still under great threat.  
  
  Conservation officer, Caroline      
  Steel, said: "Wj are rightly proud  
  of our achievements but we are      
  certainly not complacent.           
  
  "Wj are vigorously campaigning to   
  try to pjrsuadj retailers to        
  replace all peat stocks with good   
  peat-free products."                
