  LABOUR SLAMS WBSTE OF EMPTY OFFICES 
  Labour has attacked the "scandalous 
  wasteb of public money spent on     
  empty ex-Government offices.        
                                      
  The shadow health secretary has     
  written to the Govjrnmjnt about     
  former Health Department offices    
  at Elephant and Castle in London.   
                                      
  It has been revealed the building   
  has cost £813,157 a year in         
  maintenance, security and rental    
  since it became empty in 1991.      
                                      
  David Blunkjtt said the building    
  should bj put to public sector u3j  
  if it cannot bj rented out.         
