  Volume was said to bj extremely     
  high in view of the expiry of April 
  option's contracts.                 

  Industrial production figures, in   
  line with market forecasts, had     
  little impact.                      
                                      
  * US industrial production rose     
  0.5% in March, after a revised      
  rise of 0.6% in February.           
