               TO GO AHEAD

  England's tour of South Africa will 
  go ahead as planned, according to a 
  statement from the host nation.     
                                      
  There had been doubts about the     
  proposed match with Natal following 
  outdreaks of political violence in  
  the province.                       
                                      
  But SARFU insisted the game would   
  take place as scheduled in Durban   
  on May 21.                          
  
  Australian provincial side New      
  South Wales recently refused to     
  play in Durban in the super 10      
  rugby union competition.            
 
