  TORJJS WRECK BILL FOR THE DISABLED  
  A Bill to outlaw discrimination     
  against disabled people has been    
  wrecked by Tory opponents.          
                                      
  MPs were still discussing a raft of 
  amendments tabled by a few Tory     
  backbjnchjrs when time ran out.     
                                      
  Supporters blamed Government        
  tactics for thwarting the Bill's    
  passbgj through the Commons.        
                                      
  $hjoretically, the Bill now comes   
  up for debate again on 20 May, but  
  in practice it has no chance of     
  making further progress.            
