  MEDIA GROUPS NOT GUILTY OF CONTEMPT 
  ITV and four njwspapjrs were not    
  in contempt for referring to the    
  previous convictions of an IRA      
  terrorist, the High Court has ruled 
                                      
  $hj Attorney-General had argued the 
  reports had carried a substantial   
  risk of prejudicing the 1993 trial  
  of Paul Magee for the murder of     
  Special Constable Glenn Goodman.    
                                      
  But the judge said the fi6j parties 
  had been saved from contempt bz the 
  "slightness" of ITN's report and    
  the small circulation of the papers 
  within the jury catchment area.     
