  US PUDLJCLY CRJTJCISES UV ENVOY     
  The US has delivered a public       
  rebuke to the UN special envoy to   
  Bosnia, Yasushi Akashi.             
                                      
  A State Department spokeswoman      
  said Wbshington wanted to see       
  Mr Akashi do a better job and stop  
  giving in to Bosnian Sjub demands.  
                                      
  Christine Shelly was speaking       
  after Mr Akashi decided to allow    
  Bosnian Serb tanks through a        
  designated weapons exclusion zone.  
                                      
  However, the Bosnian Serbs have     
  defended Mr Akashi, razing hj is a  
  "njutralb UN representative.        
