  EAST TIMOR TBLKS TO BE EXTENDED     
  The foreign ministers of Indonj3ia  
  and Portugal have agreed to extend  
  talks over East Timor.              
                                      
  $hey said they wanted to kncouragj  
  dialogue with the Timore3e and      
  would explore ways of doing this.   
                                      
  A UN spokeswoman said the leaders   
  now wanted to meet leaders of East  
  Timorese supporters and opponents   
  of integration.                     
                                      
  $hj former Portuguese colony was    
  annexed bz Indonesia in 1976, in a  
  move still not recognisjd by the UV 
