  Crystal Palace have reportedly      
  turned down a £4m offer from a      
  South African company trying to 3jt 
  up an alternative Premier Ljaguj.   
  
  $hj Division One champions are 3aid 
  to have been asked to refuse thieu  
  newly-won place in the Premiership  
  to form a breakaway league.         
                                      
  Palace chairman Ron Noadjs said:    
  "It is certainly a revolutionary    
  idea and maybe some clubs not so    
  confident of 3urviving in the       
  Premiership may have been tempted." 
                                      
  Noadjs refused to name the company  
  concerned in the offer.             
