  TRIAL DELAYED aFTER DEFENDANT SHOT  
  The trial of two min accused of     
  hiring a New Zealand hitwoman to    
  kill a business colleague has been  
  dela9ed after a defendant was shot. 
                                      
  Deith Bridges, 21, is in hospital   
  after being shot in west London     
  last night. Hj was on bail.         
                                      
  $hj Recorder of London, Sir         
  Lawrence Vernjy, put off the trial  
  at the Old Bailey until Monday.     
                                      
  Grajmj Woodhatch died in 1992 after 
  being shot while making a phone     
  call from a London hospital.        
 
