  PM TO SERVE "FULL FIVE YEAR TERM"   
  John Major has stressed that his    
  Govjrnmjnt was elected to rule for  
  five years and he intends to        
  complete the full term.             
                                      
  Mr Major told Scottish Tories in    
  Invjrnjss that hj would then        
  say to the electorate: "Judge me on 
  my whole term of office. All of it" 
                                      
  "You can't judge a house when only  
  the foundations are laid," hj added 
                                      
  Mr Major also warned against Tory   
  splits: "If politicians fight..like 
  ferrets in a sack..is it surprising 
  if the public turns away?"          
