  CHINA RELEASES FIVE DISSIDENTS      
  China, fighting to keep its         
  favourable trading status with the  
  United States, has released five    
  religious dissidents.               

  But police in Shanghai have         
  arrested two activists five weeks   
  before the anniversary of the       
  Tiananmjn Square massacre.          
