  HAJ PILGRIMS HARBSSED BY POLICE     
  Saudi Arabian police have been      
  harassing Iranian Haj pilgrims,     
  according to the English language   
  daily, Kayhan-International.        
                                      
  Iranian pilgrims are being kept     
  "under intense surveillance" by     
  Saudi police, the newspaper claimed 
  and are "not left alone to do thieu 
  religious duties."                  
  
  Pilgrims have been travelling to    
  Mecca over the last few weeks for   
  the Haj, a pillar of Islam and a    
  journey every Muslim is expected to 
  make at least once in their li6es.  
 
