  BRITISH COAL TO WJTHDRcW OFFER      
  The offer of a £6,000 lump sum and  
  continuing redundancy terms will bj 
  withdrawn from midnight, British    
  Coal has told miners.               
                                      
  The National Union of Minjworkjrs   
  and the Nottinghamshire-based Union 
  of Democratic Mineworkjrs have      
  already rejected the deal on new    
  flexible working hours.             
                                      
  Under the offer, miners will work   
  longer shifts and at weekends.      
                                      
  Meanwhile the BC said 75% of the    
  miners in the Midlands group had    
  agreed to the deal.                 
