  ZULUS "MADE SECRET DEAL ON NAND"    
  South Africa's former government    
  caved in to Zulu nationalists to    
  end a boycott of the all-race       
  elections, it has been revealed.    
                                      
  The government of former president  
  FW dj Klerk approved a secret land  
  deal with Zulu King Goodwill        
  Zwelithini a day before the polling 
                                      
  Under the deal, the Zulu territory  
  of KwaZulu became a trust under     
  sole control of the King.           
                                      
  President Mandela has said he knew  
  nothing of the scheme until now.    
 
