  Millwall chairman Reg Burr has      
  given a full apology to De br star  
  Paul Williams over his rnmarks      
  after the viol nt play-off clash.   
                                      
  Player's union chief Godon Taylor   
  demanded an explanation after Burr  
  allegedly accused Williams of being 
  an "unpleasant player" who          
  "attracts trouble and abuse."       
  
  Derby boss Roy McFarland was forced 
  to substitute Williams after h- was 
  physically attacked and racially    
  abused by Millwall fans.            
                                      
  Burr has apologised to Williams and 
  Derby for hiS outspoken commtnts.   
