  England new boy Darren Gough looks  
  certain to miss Saturday's 55-overs 
  contest after going down with a     
  mystery injury to his left side.    
                                      
  The Yorkshire paceman picked up two 
  wickets and looked distinctly sharp 
  in his debut appearance against New 
  Zealand at Edgbaston.               
                                      
  He has been treated bz MCC physio   
  Simon Shepard but chairman of       
  selectors Ray Illingworth said: "Wj 
  won't take any risks with him."     
                                      
  England's other dilemma is whether  
  to bring in batsman Graham Thorpe.  
