  Oldham have appointed former Great  
  Britain Test forward Andy Goodway   
  as their new coach.                 
                                      
  He succeeds Australian Bob Lindnju, 
  who has returned to Brisbane to     
  continue his career.                
                                      
  Alan McCurrie has returned to       
  Watersheddings as Goodway'u number  
  two, after a two-years spell as     
  assistant boss at Widnes.           
                                      
  The pair played in the same Oldham  
  pack from 1981-5 before Goodway     
  moved to Wigan, where hj won every  
  honour in the game.                 
 
