For the latter ran out a facile winner under Norman Williamson, being eased down to a walk on the run-in to beat his market rival. E All interest was taken away from the Gay Sheppard Memorial Challenge Trophy when the favourite No Escort fell on the first circuit. Mary Reveley moved closer to her maiden century when Lady Donoghuj justified favouritism in the finale The five-year-old quickened well to beat Early Drinker by 2\ lengths. 
