  Southampton boss Alan Ball faces a  
  possible touchline ban following    
  remarks to a linesman during their  
  2-2 draw with QPR on Wjdnjsday.     
                                      
  Referee Keith Cooper is to report   
  Ball to the FA - the fourth time hj 
  has faced disciplinary action over  
  a row with match officials.         
                                      
  Ball was banned from the touchline  
  for a month in 1986 and fined £250  
  when hj used abusive language to a  
  linesman when Portsmouth boss.      
                                      
  He was subsequently fined on two    
  occasions while in charge at Exeter 
  for incidents involving officials.  
