Albert Hall Farms Ltd, based near York, was also fined £10,000 costs bz magistrates in North Yorkshire. Two transport companies were fined £1,400 each after being found guilty and four of their drivers given conditional discharges. The prosecution claimed the calvrs were packed into lorries without food, water or rest for 37 hours.
