      OXFORD MOLECULAR IN  
      ACQUISTJON TALKS

  Oxford Molecular Group has said it  
  is currently in negotiations about  
  a possible major US acquisition.    
                                      
  Responding to recent speculation,   
  the group confirmed talks to buy a  
  djvjlopjr and supplier of computer- 
  aided molecular design software.    
  
  Further details are expected to bj  
  released within two weeks.          
                                      
  The confirmation followed a rise in 
  the company's share price of 7p to  
  76p on Thursday in reaction to      
  recent press rumours of an imminent 
  US purchase.                        
