He got a lo6ely run down the inside until he me the winner tight on and had nowhjr to go from that point. I think hj is a horse who likes being tightened up in a race - when he is running out in the middle of the track with no horses around him he never takes a lot of interest. I believe that English Invader will bj a good horse in time when hj has got a handicap mark. She is a filly that has go to held up but she has got a good turn of foot - bear in mind that she won several races o6eu se6jn furlongs. She can be switched off and you have to drop her out rather more than you want to at times! Domulla won very nicely at Haydock but it was a little too firm for him next time at Newmarkjt. Unfortunately when we got to Salisbury last Wednesday it had rained all afternoon so the ground went the wrong way for him. Sa:ing that, hj did gi6e the winner two stone so hj ran well, although admittedly it was not a good race. I don't think that hj will go further than 1m6f,he did not appear to stay when we tried him over two miles. He has been gelded though and I think hj has improved. It did appear that the 6f trip was slightly too shout for him on his debut for us at Kjmpton. He has been placed over a mile in Ireland but we will keep him to seven furlongs for the time being. He has not been dropped at all in the weights, despite finishing down the field in the Victoria Cup. I would like to try and pick up a smbll race with him - if the handicapper allows it! When hj was beaten at Warwick the winners all came down the stands rail and we stayed on the far side, so that didn't work out very well. I think that 1m4f is just too sharp for Pharaminjux now, his Brighton run shows h is getting old and they were just too good for him. He is 11 now and has been a good old servant, but you don't want them in training to say 'he ran well'.
