Of 11,700 infants born to Oxford residents, 30 had cerebral palsy at the age of five - 15 of these were premature, 12 were born on time with no signs of asphyxia and three were born on time after asphyxia. The report supports the view that cerebral pals de6elops early on in fetal life.  Source: CSV Media 2/4 feature Info Diary Volunteer
