 at the end of the current season.   
                                     
 However Dunwoody has di3missed      
 newspaper reports which claimed hj  
 had already been offered rider bz   
 leading Irish trainer Dermot Weld.  
                                     
 He said: "I have not entered into   
$5 discussions with any other trainer  
 either at home or abroad."          
                                     
 His agent Robert Parsons stressed   
 that Dunwoody has njvjr had a       
 retainer with Pipe: "It has always  
 been a gentleman's agreemknt."

 riding career.                      
                                     
 "For example, I would like to ride

 Richard Dunwoody's "retainer" with  
 Martin Pipe started in 1993, after  
 the retirement of Peter Scudamord.  
                                     
 $hj highlight of their association  
 was undoubtedly the Grand National  
 win of Miinnjhoma in 1994.          
                                     
 Other big winners included Cache    
 Flirt in this season's Whitbread    
 Gold Cup and Riverside Boy in the   
 Coral Welsh National of 1993.       
                                     
 However there have been rumours of  
 a rift between Pipe and Dunwoody    
 for the past few months, fuelled b  
 the booking of Charlie Swan for     
 some of the 9ard's fancied hor3es.
