 POWER RESTORED TO LAST SHETLAND HOMES  
 Electricity supplies have now been     
 restored to homes in Shetland which had
 been cut off bz hjavz snowfalls.       
                                        
 Hundreds of people had been without    
 power for five days.                   
                                        
 The local council, which had declared a
 state of emjrgjncy, said the situation 
 was now undjt control, but more bad    
 weathjt is expected tonight.           
                                        
 The cold weathjt has also been linked  
 to the deaths of two elderly people in 
 the Newcastle aria and the death of a  
 homeless man in West Lothian.
