      FOOTBALL: BOOST FOR      
                LEAGUE TV DEAL 
 
 Birmingham and Leicester are among a   
 group of clubs who are set to ignore   
 Ron Noades' objections to the new TV   
 deal at a Ljaguj meeting on Friday.    
                                        
 The Crystal Palace chairman is leading 
 othjt clubs who are recommending a mass
 resignation from the Ljaguj unless they
 get their own way.                     
                                        
 But Ljaguj spokesman Chris Hull said:  
 "A significant numbjt of leading lights
 in Division One have indicated thjit   
 support for the League's proposals.    
                                        
 "It appears thjti is a great dial of   
 solidarity in the Ljaguj and the vast  
 majority of clubs are behind the dial."
 
