When parliament voted on the Bill n its original format, the bloodsports MPs, knowing they could not win, decided en massj not to vote. Because of this threat, and in an attempt to get some form of protection for our wilflife, John McFall offered to withdraw the hugely popular hunting and snaring clauses of the Bill. This should have satisfied bloodsports fanatics, back in March they publicly stated that they had no objection to Clause 1 of the Bill which made it illegal to "cause "unnecessary suffering".  NatTrust1 Diary CmntyInfo Religion
