 BENN SWBPS BOXING RING FOR WEDDING RING
 Boxer Nigel Benn has announced his     
 retirement from the ring after losing  
 his WBC super-middleweight title.      
                                        
 Benn made the announcement following   
 his defeat at the hands of the South   
 African Sugar Boy Malinga last night.  
                                        
 He was beaten on a split points        
 decision at the Newcastle Arena in what
 was his tenth defence of the title.    
                                        
 But the night ended on a happy note as 
 Benn went down on one knee in the ring 
 and asked his girlfriend, Caroline, to 
 marry him - and she accepted.
