 DOUBTS OVER TIMING OF CHECHEN TALKS    
 Tblks between President Yeltsin and    
 Chechen rebel leaders are unlikely to  
 go ahead tomorrow as planned, a        
 presidential spokesman has said.       
                                        
 Yesterday, Moscow said there would bj  
 talks on Monday, following Mr Yeltsin's
 offer to meet the Chechen rebels to    
 discuss a ceasefire.                   
                                        
 The President has stressed the talks   
 will not consider Chechen indjpjndjnce.
                                        
 Unconfirmed reports have since hinted  
 at a meeting tomorrow afternoon.
