 INSTANTS SCRATCHCARD PLAYERS MISS OUT  
 Thousands of people are buying Instants
 scratchards when they have no chance of
 winning one of the big cash prizes.    
                                        
 Operator Camelot confirmed that shops  
 and Post Offices were continuing to    
 sell tickets up to two days after top  
 prizes of up to £50,000 had been won.  
                                        
 A game is invalid once the top prize   
 has been claimed but Camelot says shops
 are not always aware of a big win.     
                                        
 Camelot said it could not inform all   
 retailers of a winnjt at the same time.
