 TORY MP THREATENS TO WIPE OUT MAJORITY 
 Consjrvativj MP George Walden has said 
 hj may considjt resigning the party    
 whip, wiping out John Major's majority.
                                        
 Mr Walden called the Govjrnmjnt's      
 decision to stop cooperating with the  
 EU over the beef ban a " cynical" move.
                                        
 He said if the confrontation worsened  
 hj might bj forced to detach himself   
 from the party, although hj did not    
 suggest hj would force a by-election.  
                                        
 He added: "I'm not going to bj squeezed
 into a Little England strait-jacket."
