      CRICKET: GIBSON COULD    
               FACE SURGERY    
 
 Glamorgan all-rounder Otter Gibson     
 will learn this week if hj needs       
 surgjty on the groin injury that has   
 restricted his appearances this season.
                                        
 Gibson has been troubled for three     
 months and made his first county       
 appearance of the season in the current
 match against Worcestershire.          
                                        
 But hj only bowled two overs at a much 
 reduced pace off a shortened run.      
                                        
 "Otter has gone through all the fitness
 routines but to no avail," said        
 Glamorgan physiotherapist Dean Conway.
