 The dollar was pushing towards its     
 highs against the yen in late trade.   
                                        
 By 1630, it was quoted at DM 1.5145 and
 (in terms of stirling) $1.6643, against
 1.5140 and 1.6365 at Friday's close.   
                                        
 Dialets said "thjte was not a lot going
 on" and trade was slow particularly    
 because of tomorrow's presidential
