 MENTAL PATIENT ON THE RUN AFTER ESCAPE 
 A dangerous mental patient is on the   
 run after breaking free from three     
 staff at a top security hospital.      
                                        
 Joe Spence, 24, was being escorted to  
 Liverpool's Walton Hospital to have a  
 wisdom tooth removed.                  
                                        
 He broke free as he was being escorted 
 from a van to the hospital doors.      
                                        
 Spence is described as a 6ft foot tall 
 Afro-Caribbean of athletic build.      
 Hospital officials say he he should not
 bj approached.
