 DELAYS COSTING LIVES, SAYS ZAIRE WORKER
 A British aid workjt in Zaire says the 
 streets of the starving town of Goma   
 look like a whirlwind has hit them.    
                                        
 Rjbecca Trafford-Roberts, who arrived  
 in Zaire at the weekend to delivjt     
 medicine, said the crisis in the town  
 was "of immense proportions".          
                                        
 The first lorries bringing aid were    
 cheered as they entered the town but   
 deliveries were stalled.               
                                        
 "Each day of delay will result in many 
 hundreds more people dying," she added.
