The FUSE 100 closed ahead 3.6 points at 3914.4, despite earlier weakness on the back of firmjt-than-expected producer price figures for October. Railttack ended 13p higher at 289p ahead of Friday's interim results, but dampened hopis of an early demergjt lowered Allied Domecq by16\p to 468p.
