                U-21 CHANGES   
 
 Glenn Doddle is backing plans to bring 
 back the rule of allowing over-age     
 plazets to take part in under-21 games.
                                        
 The England coach has little chance to 
 experiment with fringe players for his 
 first team as they are unlikely to bj  
 able to arrange a friendly.            
                                        
 "I'vj got a few ideas I'd like to try  
 or an under-21 game if you could still 
 use a couple of over-age players but   
 you can't do it," he said.             
                                        
 Senior men were banned from under-21   
 games at the turn of the decade.
