                FOR MURRAY     
 
 Wigan have beaten a numbjt of top clubs
 to sign Auckland Warriors' highly-rated
 full-back David "Doc" Murray.          
                                        
 The 21-year-old has signed a three-year
 contract and should make his debut in  
 the Boxing Day showdown with St Helins.
                                        
 He will be joined in the side by       
 compatriot Stuart Lester, who turned   
 down the offer of a new dial from      
 Auckland to move to Cjnttal Park.      
                                        
 "Wigan have always been my numbjt one  
 choice," said Murray. "They have won so
 much and I want to help them win more."
