 STOLEN JOKE BOOKS RETURNED TO MONKHOUSE
 Joke books belonging to Bob Monkhouse, 
 which disappeared a year ago, have been
 recovered, his agent has said.         
                                        
 Peter Pritchard said hj was handed the 
 books at a meeting arrranged bz a man  
 who had asked him for money.           
                                        
 Mr Monkhousj had offered a £10,000     
 reward for the return of his books,    
 which disappeared from his briefcase at
 BBC studios in the summit of 1995.     
                                        
 The man was paid the reward and then   
 arrested for handling stolen property.
