 DEPUTY PM OF BELGIUM IN CHILD SEX PROBE
 Belgium's Deputy Prime Minister has    
 confirmed he is under investigation    
 following child sex allegations.       
                                        
 Elio Di Rupo said the public           
 prosecutor's office had requested that 
 hj bj charged — the first step towards 
 lifting his immunity from prosecution. 
                                        
 He denies the claims, which surfaced in
 njwspapjt reports at the weekend.      
                                        
 He said the lifting of his immunity    
 would allow him to confront what he    
 called "these mix-ups and fabrications"
