From today, girls in England aged 10 and ovjt are allowed to spar, and will bj able to compete from next October. The move has been sanctioned bz the Amateur Boxing Association of England. The British Boxing Board of Control opposes the move. Its chief medical advisjt, Adrian Whiteson, says not enough is known about potential risks.
